BIOGRAPHY
Born in Hartford, CT — where he currently resides — Page has called London, Boston, and Atlanta home at one time or another. Born to Jamaican parents, Reggae was the primary genre of music played in his childhood home; his father was an avid Bob Marley and Dennis Brown listener. His older cousins who mainly listened to rap music also influenced Page’s musical palette.
Spending summers in London with his uncles who were Dj’s, and travel, exposed him to rap more ineptly in addition to House and other sounds of the UK. After moving to London, the music scene there began to influence Front Page even more… Page developed a deeper liking for genres such as Garage, House, and Electronica just to name a few and eventually began incorporating such elements into his music. Front Page considers his music an embassy for all music… and developed a theory/notion… that all music is a family.
While a student at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, Page got the opportunity to perform at various colleges in and outside of Boston as an artist, as well as a guest lecturer and panelist. Northeast venues such as Harpers Ferry, Toads Place, Don Hills, and the Webster Theatre have had the chance to witness Front Page’s uncanny stage shows; in addition to that he has also been booked to for countless international appearances in Montreal, Canada and London, England.
With the principles of 90’s Hip Hop, The soul of 70’s Soul, The cool of 70’s reggae, and the eye of the future, Front Page is ready to set the world of music on it’s ear. “I Wish I Was White” was Front Page’s formal introduction to the world. The project is a journey through the scope of an ambitious young man fighting pessimisms, prejudice, and doubt. This is where listeners will best see illustrations of his axiom, “Inspired by the Uninspired.”
Front Page is set on being a force in the world of music in time to come, but in the meantime he will be putting Connecticut and New England music on the world’s radar.
